What are we doing?
The Rotary Club of Newbridge was established in 1990, we are a group of men and women who want to make a difference in our own community, whilst at the same time helping people in other parts of the world. The Club is non-political and non-religious and draws its members from all walks of life. The Focus of the club’s work is local, national and international, Rotary members put their experience and knowledge to work tackling our most pressing challenges. We focus our efforts in seven areas: promoting peace, preventing diseases, providing access to clean water and sanitation, enhancing maternal and child health, improving basic education and literacy, and helping the community. In 2020 ‘The Environment’ became Rotary's seventh area of focus and Newbridge elected our first environmental chair in 2021
